Hello + Noob Question

Hey everyone new to the forum. I just played 9 holes a couple of days ago for the first time, I even though I sucked horribly, I think that it's fun and I'll probaby get into it.

So here's my question, I live in Western Wisconsin and need Clubs, perferribly used ones around about 200 bucks, 300 is pushing it. I need everything since I don't have any clubs. Do you know what kind of clubs I should get and is there a website that sells used clubs?

Hello, welcome to the forum. I know you said you may have sucked but you can't be the next Tiger Woods the first time out. You could buy new ones from scheels from around 199.99 a whole set. You don't need the best clubs right away, so any brand will do. You could go to Callawaypreowned.com or ebay.com will sell used clubs.

PS'-You might also want to think about lessons, they help a lot I herd. I plan on getting some soon.

NickBizzar,

Is buying them on-line your perferred option? Like Topflite_d2 said, eBay is a good place to try. Spending $200 for a full set plus maybe another $75 - $100 for a bag, glove, balls, and some accessories (cleaning brush, tees, bag towel, etc) should be fine for now (you may have to do without golf shoes for the time being unless you want to shell out another minimum $40.00 for a half way decent pair). I'm in California, and out here we have a place called "Play It Again" Sports that carries alot of 'pre-owned' golf equipment - here's a few locations in Wisconsin

click this - ( Play It Again Sports || Store Locations ).

Golf is an addictive sport, but can be frustrating.....some are naturals and some really need to put alot of effort into it, but practice makes perfect (so to speak) ...you'll do fine

Cool, thank you. Yeah I can do without the shoes for now, maybe later. And my golf coach at my school teaches lessons during the summer when there's no school, so I think I'll go to that next summer. (Now that school has started again.)
