Daniel is on a distinguished road
hi, I'm Dan

Yeah, just joined today. I'm not a fantastic golfer, but I got a half an hour lesson by a pro, and I watched some training video's on youtube. I was actually able to get 48 on 9 holes at my local golf course. my putting, chipping, and pitching are okay for now, but I'd like to get better at using my driver and woods. I have a really inexpensive golf set, but it works, so hey who cares (maybe I'll upgrade in another year or so). I usually play golf about once a week, and go to the driving range about once or twice a week. I hope to be welcomed and stuff.

Welcome aborad Dan, always room for another duffer. It is not necessary that you have expensive clubs, as long as they do the job, theres an old saying about a craftsman never blaming his tools. Good to see your getting the practice time in, thats really the only way to ever become proficient at this game. Notice I did not say GOOD at this game, Tiger is good at this game the rest of us if we're lucky are proficient. On the whole I think if you check out the board, you'll find its a friendly, informal place to hang out. If you got specific golf questions, post em and I'm some of the gang will get back to you. Again welcome...
