Hi my name is Franz, they say you are never to old or to young to play golf, I hope they are right, I'm 47 and now I am picking up a golf club for the first time. Looking to learn something new .

Welcome to Golf Forum Franz, and your never too old to take up golf, as you can see I'm 65+ and hopefully still going strong. One suggestion though, where as your a newbie to golf, find your club pro and take a couple of lessons. It will cost you a couple of sheckles but believe me its worth it, the pro can cure all the bad habits some of us had to live through, and get you started on an even keel. Also if you have specific golf questions, then post em here and I'm sure some of the gang will get back to you. Again welcome and hope to hear more from you..
