| Welcome to golf forum Scarer, always room for another duffer. Don't ever worry about making a fool of yourself, everyone had to go through the same learning curve, shanks, slices, hooks and hours on the range, but it will get better with time. If you end up with specific golf questions, post them and I'm sure the gang here will help you out. As far as new clubs are concerned, you do not have to pay a small fortune for clubs, entry level clubs, Ram, Wilson, Tour Edge, Spalding, all put out good entry level sets that you can pick up for under $200.00. You can also check out your local newspaper buy/sell or local on-line swap shops, sometimes theres some real bargains on used clubs. Again welcome to golf link and hope to hear more from you...
