So your 4th of July sounds a lot like our Australia Day abit bit of relaxing with some golf and then a few quiet one with mates at a bbq.

I spent the July 4th weekend in North Carolina baby-sitting my grandkids. The oldest went to a friend's house for a sleepover and the two younger ones were in bed before dark, so we didn't go anywhere. Then it rained anyway, so there were no local fireworks.

We watched fireworks on tv...
