If you're on a tight budget, look into clones. They usually allow you to specify shaft length. They probably won't last near a long as a brand name club, but will give you a good idea how the real thing hits for when you have the funds.
Look around at local discount sporting goods shops for bargains. Modern drivers have been 'stretching' for decades. Chances are an off-the-rack driver will suit you fine. Same for fairway woods and hybrids.
Look around for used clubs. Tall people trade in, too. |
