Suggest a Good Iron set for a Newbie pls

Hey,

I have been inquiring and looking at some of the available iron golf set here, and I have also browse through eBay and other golf site.

So far, a few friends told me to buy Callaway, Taylor, Mizuno, but I'm wondering if there are other golf brands that are great for newbie like me?

My budget can go up to US$500.00.

I'm thinking of getting a Ping G2, G5 or a Nike Ignite?
Any suggestion before I buy a new set?

Butz

Hi

It would be better for you in the long run if you could actually try various brands in clubs before you take the plunge. What works for one person doesnt always work for the other.

Other than the names you suggest, Wilson and Ram seem to have a popular following with Begginers.

Suggest a.....

With your budget you can get a nice used set of Ping G5s or Mizuno MX900

Easy to hit irons and pleasure to use at the course.

Good luck.
