I've always wanted a set of Eye 2's and after a few years lay off from golf I want to get back into it with a new(old) set.

I've read that the BeCu irons have a softer feel than the steel heads. Does this result in a loss of distance? Anything else I should be aware of if I went with BeCu's over steel?

I have tried the regular eye 2's and found them to be shorter by close to 1 club than the becu's I regularly play with. The becu's feel a little more head heavy than other clubs, but I like the feel of something on the end of the shaft.

I play a set of ISI copper heads. The reason I stick with them is the feel. There is definitely some heft at the end of the shaft. They come with steel shafts. Graphite would throw off the swing weight according to Ping. Distance is not the reason you purchase these irons, or any irons for that matter. Its a matter of feedback to your hands and the confidence to control your shots. My only issue with copper is that I can't find anyone, including Ping, that will re-groove the faces so I have to do it myself.
