| Wow, that is a lot of choices. I recently went through this when I replaced a set of Eye 2's that I had played for 19 years. I knew that my swing had changed and that I had benefited from replacing my driver more frequently, plus changing out the shaft from OEM was super.
The first thing I did was go to the store and throw everything down on the ground, usually a wedge, to see if it looked good at address. Some had really thick top lines, some didn't look square, etc. I got it down to 4 that way. I tried the R7TP, x20 Tour, Ping G5 and Rapture. I did like the R7, mixed reviews on the Callaway and couldn't really see any difference between the Rapture and the G5.
Bought the G5's, maybe because I'm just a Ping guy and because they were $150 less than the Rapture's. They are incredibly straight and I hit them very high, for me at least.
I did love the way the X Forged looked, but just couldn't pull the trigger on a forged club since leaving behind those Staff blades in 1983.
Good luck.
