I have been looking at iron sets and typically like the look of the forged sets better. So far, I like Ben Hogan's Apex 50, Cleveland CG1, Nike foged blades, Mizuno MP-32, MP-37, or MP-67, Titleist forged 695 MB or forged 660, and Pursuit M510. Has anybody tried any of these or heard anything about one over another?

I have the Ben Hogans, like them, but best of all they were extremely well priced, all Ben Hogan stuff is around here right now as I hear they are phasing out the brand? Good for me!

Where did you hear that? I seriously hope that isn't true..I have tried all of those irons, but I would say the Hogans, and the Mizunos are the best, IMO..but try BEFORE you buy! Make sure they are right for you..

Have you tried the new Nike CCI forged? Them are S-W-E-E-T!!!

Thats just a rumour I heard, since Callaway has taken over the brand, but it could just be a new lineup. Don't freak out yet!

Take a look at the new Adams Pro Forged Idea's. I hit them today and they are sweet irons and they are players clubs too. Tom Watson and other Adams Staff members play them. Nice thin topline, nice compact head. True Temper Black Gold rifle shafts. Nice irons and in Canada they sell for $799. which is a great price for forged irons.
