CG 12 Wedges

Anyone used them, like them, dislike them? How do they compare to the CG 10s as far as head shape, etc?

Thanks a lot!
Ryan

Same Question

I too am curious about how the CG12's play and I'm in the market for a new 58 degree wedge and I was looking at the Mizuno, Titleist, and Cleveland lines. I'm a 5 Index and I'm looking for more spin and ability to hold the green on short pitch shots. I know the technique to do so, but my 2 year old CG10's are worn down to the point where a little bit of check-up is rare. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or could point me in the best direction for more spin on shorter pitch shots. Thanks much!

haven't hit but looked at the cg12's and they don't appeal to me ...i played the cg10's for 2-3 yrs however long since they been out..like them alot better...cg12's are a lil bigger and chrome which i'm not a fan of the shiny chrome with the sun etc...also the grooves claim to be bigger then other clubs which isn't that true...about the same as any wedge..

I bought a CG12 a few weeks back, it's a 60* low bounce 4*. I have used it lots and think its a great club. It's a little hard on the ball but I only use a ball for one round anyway. The head is very similar to the CG10 of which I have 2. My CG12 is the dark head and looks good. It's save me a few shots already and I've hit it tight to the stick for some easy birdie putts. The ball usually hits the green bounces once then stops, no excessive back spin. I've been using it out of some bunkers as well with good results also. It's great.
