Need new wedge loft.......any advise

I want to buy a new loft wedge. This is the best part of my game and i feel to improve even more i am in search or new. I use G5 Irons at the moment but i'm not fussed about what make for the wedge (no expense spared).

Looking for a 60 or 62 degree.............any suggestions please.

What wedges do you carry in your bag currently?

If you get new wedges I would suggest the Cleavland CG12 w/ zip grooves. Haven't tried them myself but I've herd good things about them.

Ditto on the CG12 and if you want forgiveness the CG14 (also has the zip grooves). I have 3, 50* CG14 (would have bought the 12 but was a gift) and my primary "weapons" are the CG12 54* and 60*. THe new forged Mizunos are also worth a look as are the SM Vokeys....though I had to get mine fitted (as you shold anyway) they are typically a little shorter than other wedges in my experience.

Solus make a great wedge, and they even make a 72 degree wedge

do not get more loft than a 60*, more would be too much. If your wedge has too much loft, it will only become usable for one shot: the flop. With a 58 or 60, just open the face to give you 62 or 64 degrees, and hit the flop. A 60 is still useful for an 80 yard pitch, a 62 or a 64 is pushing it.

What wedge lofts do you already have? If you don't have any, then get yourself a PW, if you don't already have one, somewhere around 46-48* of loft. A 56* SW, and maybe a 60*, if you'll be playing tight pins, and bunker shots a lot.

If you don't want the 56 or the 60*.. You can always get a 52-54* GW, and maybe a 58* wedge or something to fill whatever gap you have.

good suggestion, 300Yards. I personally play a PW (Taylor Made R7 XD pitching Wedge at 46*) and then a 56* SW and 60* LW. Seems to work perfect for me
