what do you think of linx black cat

I'm thinking about buying a used set of linx black cat from an old buddy of mine. Are these clubs any good? I hit with them at the range and they felt decent. I don't wanna spend too much money on a new set. He's selling them for $100. I'm only a beginner so I don't wanna waste too much money on the clubs just in case I might get a better set once I get a little better.

Lynx used to bave a lot more of a presence in the golf game than what they do now. From past experiences the irons should be very good. But like most things in golf, its not always about the name its how you use them

There's not a lot more you can say. Fitz is right.

If they feel good to you and if there aren't any issues with loose clubheads or dents or cracks in shafts, in other words, thing that might be expensive to repair, they sound like they would be worth it. Lynx used to make great clubs.
