The CN Canadian Women’s Open, the only Canadian tournament on the LPGA Tour kicks off next week at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta.

This year looks to be one of the strongest fields ever seen at this event with confirmed players including last year’s champion Cristie Kerr. The players list has yet to be finalised, but one thing is sure, this is an event not to miss!

I watched this tournament last summer when it was in London. I was impressed with the play. Sure the ladies do not stand up and bomb it 300 + all day. However that does not mean the golf is not worth watching.
This year the tournament has 47 of the Top 50 women entered. It is going to be a great event. I wish it was back in London.

Another win for Lorena. This young lady is good. She is going to be winning for some time to come. Ping did well to put her under contract
