God I am the "SENIOR CITIZEN" on here at age 50, 51 next Feb.
Oh well with age comes wisdom. I have been golfing longer than most of you have been alive!

I hope I can reach your age and can still play golf with ease.

I know a lot who at your age are having difficulty due to arthritis or back problem.

Are you a golf teacher/pro?

MY AGE? You make it sound like I am in my 80's

I can play golf with ease, I can walk 36 holes if I wantto. I recently started to carry my bag again.

I have arthritis in some joints, I live with it. I used to take Celebrex for that but I no longer take it. I had a heart attack in May and then a double bypass. I was back playing golf within 5 weeks of being released from the hospital. Since then I have played close to 90 rounds, 116 total. Most of those rounds after my by pass were rounds in which I walked. I am likely in better shape now than I was 5 years ago!

I will play 27 or 36 tomorrow. 18 on Saturday and Sunday.

I also have no issues with my back, never have had any.

I am not a teacher/pro. I work in a Ford Motor Company assembly plant, been employed there for close to 28 years.

I'll be 27 in February, and its kinda dawning on me that I am no longer the 17 year old boy anymore.

Mentally - yes, physically - erm...almost, emotionally - yes.

I realise I am about 20 years too early for my mid life crisis, but I'll have a mini one and go to Ireland to play golf.

I used to look forward to going out to nightclubs and bars, or making a trip into London for a beer. Now I look forward to going to bed early to catch up on some sleep lol.
