Has anyone else gotten the e-mail? I'm guessing they sent it to me via the e-mail thing in my profile. Guess I'll be taking that down.
Is there any way for administrators to track this type of thing? We don't want spammers in this forum
Ouch. The spammers must be out in record numbers right now. Another forum I like to visit has a post from a spammer with a email chain letter scam that you have to post on at least 200 forums in order to make it "work".
I haven't received that email, Jesse. Hopefully I won't. I do hope the Admin can do something to stop them. I always have it so people can't get my email from my Profile on a forum .. just too risky. At least PMs can usually be regulated somewhat by the forum admin.
Sorry to hear that. If it's from the same guy, you can always try putting him in Junk Mail and have him taken off the playing field before he hits your InBox.
I keep getting tons of phishing emails from eBay, PayPal, Chase, as well as tons of Nigeria scam letters (but from all sorts of countries) these days and I don't have anything to do with Chase or eBay. Up to about 5 per day from Chase, always using different starting emails. So I feel your pain

Yes! I've been getting about five a day from chase, as well as a couple Nigerian scams a day. It's really starting to make me mad. As for the spam, it's from a different address every time. Gmail has a good spam system so they usually end up in spam, but they don't always and it gets annoying
