just went and got my first video rental store membership in years - decided we were spendign too much money on buying the movies (we always miss them in the theaters) vs just renting them... anyone else doing this or is everyone going to the theaters or buying them?

I buy, I always end up with quite high late fees and it's just not worth watching a movie for a few days before you have to bring it back. If I find a movie I like, I can't let go of it.

...hmmm, I uhh...get them off the interent... Although I do buy certain movies, mostly my favourites...

Made my life so much easier on the whole rental thing. Not really into the buying thing. I'm not big into watching a movie more than once.

I hit blockbuster with the no late fees. If we rent a good one, they usually will sell it to us, or wait another week and buy it for the discounted 5.99 price. They guarantee all of there previewed movies.

Netflix is amazing. They have everything, including different TV series and concerts.

Yes, use netflix instead of renting a movie from your local blockbuster though it may take time to come, but its worth it..a movies a movie

I'm a netflix person too. It comes out a lot cheaper than renting at the store if you watch a lot of movies. It takes about 2 days to get a movie to me. Some movies I buy - the ones I know I would watch over and over.

They have recently increased the number of movies you can take at one time to 9, I think. Heaven on earth lol

I am contented with renting coz it is much cheaper.
However, for good movies, I want to have my own copy and so I buy one.
