Worcester native Fran Quinn, who now lives in Northborough, opted for balmy Panama instead of snowy Massachusetts when he didn't get into this week's PGA Tour event.
Smart move. Quinn built a commanding five-shot lead after three rounds, shot 71 in the final round, and held on to win the Panama Claro Championship by two strokes. It's Quinn's fourth victory on the Nationwide Tour, and today's win earned him $99,000.
