OMG
You're right! I hadn't considered the Tiger factor in the coverage! This could well mean poor coverage of the field. My hopes for an unbiased coverage of the conclusion are falling like autumn leaves....
I think you can throw out the stats on the final pairing wins this year. This Masters has proven to be itself to fall wayyyyy outside of the bell curve. For myself, I'd like to see the players be able to give the course a run, but I'd like to see an underdog win. I have nothing really against Tiger - he is the best - bar none - but his dominace makes for boring golf. (Please - don't say all the common retorts about his fantastic shot making.... its conceded. Since there is proportionately more coverage of Tiger, we
see more of his shots - I'm certain the other pros hit similar shots... we just don't get a chance to see 'em.)
Viay looks too far back, Phil is a distant possibility... I'd like to see Rose get back his Thus., Fri. game again, Appleby seems to be calm and ready... Another dark horse could be Tim Clark - he was runner up last year wasn't he?
