What the hell happened to Hal Sutton and where the hell is HE?! He was one of the premier players in the world and all of a Sutton(pun) he disappeared off of the face of the planet. Does anybody have any inside information because I don't have any info?

Chances are he's playing the waiting game until he's able to play the Champions Tour next year. He's been AWOL since captaining the Ryder Cup US team in 04.

Sutton basically went into hiding after he captained the Ryder Cup Team that got hammered 4 years ago.
The media laid the blame squarely on his shoulders for that loss. Funny, I did not see Hal Sutton hitting any shots during the match play event. Yet he was hung out to dry.
I also think he has had some injuries. PLUS, I think he has lost some interest in the game. He has a horse farm which he spends his time at and enjoys that more.
Pro golfers lose interest in the game. Greg Norman has stated he has no interest in playing on the Champions Tour on a regular basis. He just does not want to bother.
I know one thing, who will ever forget Hal Sutton staring down Tiger in the 4th round of the Players Championship. His final shot into the 18th green when he said "Be the right club today" is classic.
