All i have heard from him in the past two weeks is how he can beat tiger woods, and how Tiger is beatable. Tiger has won 9 of his last 12 events on tour. I mean seriously Sabbatini give up. He kicks your A** and doesn't even have to get dirty to beat the other pga tour players. So sit back and watch him play cuz i know and everyone knows thats all that you will be doing. He's the best player to ever play (given the fact he breaks the 18 major record) in my opinion although i do give Jack Nickalous the credit he deserves.

and For crying out loud this is the game of golf. Anyone on any given day could beat someone given the right circumstances. But 9/12 is just amazing that his win percentage is that high yet the scoring avg between the top 100 players is less then a stroke or 2. That tells you something right there. This guy is good.

Just my 2 cents, that Rory should stop the trash talk till he's # 1 in the world or has gone head to head with tiger in the final group of a major and lets see who wins. Never will it be Tiger vs Rory but more like Tiger vs THE FIELD of 150 or so lol.

Well, Rory choked like the chump he is today. Nice round 79. Still ahead of Tiger but 7 back. I find it telling that he was also voted #1 in who other players DONT want to be paired with. He must run his mouth off camera too. Ashame he is unable to back it up.

Tell you what, if you think he is a chump. I'll put $1000 on Rory and you go take him on in stroke play. He wins I keep my money, you win you can have it.

It's not like he has never won on the PGA. or did anyone bother to check those stats? He is currently 47th in Career Earnings, 14th Worldwide in earnings for 2007.17th in the World Rankings and 12th in Fedex Cup Points. Seems to me he is doing ok.

I love it when guys trash talk Woods. It shows they are not afraid of him simply because he is Tiger Woods.

Me saying hes a chump has nothing to do with his game and everything to do w/ his mouth. Honestly, the fact he got 25% of total votes in the person other players would least like to be paired with compared w/ the number 2 at 8% speaks volumes about the guy.

I hope he matures and continues to do well, but he can save the trash talk til he has accomplished something like a single major, compared to...how many does Tiger have now?

I also enjoy the trash talking, cause to me it proves hes already in their head and they are pounding their chest in front of the camera and praying for help when they go to sleep that night.

I also want to add, I dont think Woods is unbeatable, but he is the best player on tour and one of the best ever. Anyone can be beaten on any given day, but the percentage is substantially in Tiger's favor currently, especially against Sabbatini

He said tiger was "BEATABLE" who in golf isn't beatable? Any given day everyone is gonna get beat. Its the fact he directs it at tiger like he's better. He said he liked the NEW tiger that struggles with his swing etc. I thought it was funny wat tiger said back. Yea 9/12 tournaments won and 3 majors Heck i like the NEW Tiger too. I don't dislike Rory but its the ppl that talk trash and then don't back it up. If he wants respect then EARN it. Go beat tiger, o wait theres 150 more ppl you gotta beat to win. Beat those too then you'll earn ppl's respect. An like he said competing for number 1 in the world thats just funny. Do you realize the lead Tiger has on Jim furyk at # 2 is greater then Jim's lead on the 1000th ranked player in the world. That says something i'd say.

LOL Rory shoots a 79 and gets himself back into the tournament LOL ...Not sitting to pretty after that ehh ? You talk to soon just like Rory. I never said tiger couldn't be beat. But heck 9/12 times tiger is gonna win I wouldn't bet against him is wat i'm saying. Considering the fact Rory has won something like 3 tourny's lol to wood's 57. I'll take woods over Rory ANY DAY.

Have to agree there is nothing wrong with a tour player saying something like this to prove that he is not scared of taking tiger. many players have the negative attitude of "o nop point hes going to win anyway". Sabbatini has the enthusiasm and the confindence to stand up and say "Hell yeah i can beat this guy". Good luck to him, although the way Tiger has been playing im sure even i could beat him

Go back and re read all of the posts. My statement was directed at WILL, not you. He called Rory a Chump, so my bet was $1000 on Rory against Will.

As for being afraid of you, give me a break. Why would I be afraid of someone who is in front of a computer monitor?

I have been around the game of golf for 26 years, playing and watching. I am not stupid, I realize Woods is good. But he can be beaten and that has been proven. You seem to think he is GOD WITH CLUBS.

Until he tops Jack's record in the Major Departments (Not just in wins, but in Top 10's and 2nd place finsihes) then he is not the greatest player in the history of the game of golf.
If comments from Rory upset you that much then it might be best if you not pay attention to what he says.

Rory is Rory, and the fact he trash talked Woods does not make him a chump. It means he is not afraid of Woods when it comes to playing golf.
The fact other players do not like playing with him could be because Rory likes to play fast. Just ask Ben Crane about that!
