Weather permitting, I'll play tomorrow, but I think I'm going to take the weekend off and just immerse myself in golf on tv this weekend.

Brother-in-law in town tomorrow, and work, work Thurs, league Fri, Tourney Sat, golf with the Mrs Sunday. I love to watch golf, but love to play it more LOL

Can't watch it at twork, too busy (is that a good thing?). But I DID set my DVR to record all airings on ESPN and NBC HD! Will check out the coverage starting tonight.

We close the office early during the summer, 3 PM to be exact. On the days when I get away on time, I try to get to the course to play or hit balls. For the last 4 days, I've been rained out. It seems like you could set your watch at 3 PM every day... EXACTLY when the thunderstorms start. I'd play in the rain, but that lightning isn't my best friend.

Thank God the Open has started. I can immerse myself in it for the weekend.

It's my aniversary today so I won't be watching much golf. And work internet blocks anything fun. Will be able to catch it the rest of the weekend though. I heard you can also watch golf on ESPN 360. It is only Tiger coverage though.

How bout that pitch Tiger hit on 18 today, incredible. You have to play out of rough that thick to appreciate how much strength that takes.

I think if Tiger would hit more fairways, he would probably play the rest of the golf course well enough to win. The only thing is, there are a lot of people between him and first place and I wouldn't expect ALL of them to back up. He's going to have to find a low number at least one of the last two days.

Not meaning to steal this thread, but dies anyone else find the course setup as ridiculous as I do? Oakmont is a magnificent course on any given day. They didn't need to trick it up to make it a great test.

(edit for addition)

Also, is anyone as glad as I am that Phil didn't make the cut? I know he would probably kill me if he heard me say that, but I just don't want to see him injure himself further and wind up not playing for 6 months or a year while that wrist heals. I love to watch him play, but I want him healthy.
