Sweden's Richard S. Johnson birdied three of the last four holes on Sunday to claim a one-shot victory in the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee for his first win on the PGA Tour.
Johnson's sizzling finish gave him a six-under-par 64 for a 16-under-par 264 total at Brown Deer Park golf course.
American Ken Duke shot 65 for 265 to finish second.
The victory provided Johnson, ranked 612th in the world, a top prize of $720,000. The 31-year-old Swede, who had missed eight of 11 cuts this season, had earned just $48,000 on tour coming into the event.
"It's just amazing," he told reporters about notching his first U.S. Tour title.
Tied for third at 267 were Americans Dean Wilson (65), Chad Campbell (65) and Chris Riley (66).
Johnson, who scored an ace on Thursday to lead after the opening round with a 63 and also shared the 36-hole lead, got off to a bumpy start with bogeys at the second and fourth holes.
