| If you are talking about greens that are REALLY fast, not just slightly faster than usual, you might want to consider finding a lightweight putter that puts a good roll on the ball as early as possible. In other words, you don't want to change your setup and stroke too much, but since you will be putting a lighter hit on the ball, you need to get it on line as easily as possible. Slower moving putts are easier to get off line.
I have a Nike putter at home that I don't particularly care for on a day to day basis where I typically play, (Ping Anser style head), but when I go to a couple particular courses where the greens stimp around 12, I take it. It's still not my favorite putter, but it lets me get used to the faster speed a lot easier than if I took my Oddysey and tried to change my stroke.
