Taylor Made Rossa Imosa ASGI+

Taylor Made Rossa Imosa 8 ASGI+

I just picked up one of these along with my new r7 TP iron set, which I'll review in the iron section. I have to say, I love the classic design of this putter and the thing just looks amazing. I'm more of a blade kind of guy when it comes to putters, so it is very visually appealing to me. It's lighter than my previous putter, so my wrists tend to break down less if I have a longer putt. The ASGI+ (Anti Skid Groove Insert) System is great. The ball comes off the face really easily and doesn't skid or hop as my previous putter did.

For me, and for anyone else who uses it, this means better distance control along with your putts starting and staying on line. Those are the keys to made putts! I've only played around with it on the putting green, so I'll review it again once I take it out on the course, but so far, it's a great buy.

Alright, so I played my first round with this and it's definitely rolling the ball a lot better than my old PING Craz-E G2i. I got a lot of hops and skids on the ping. Not so on the Imosa. It has a nice solid click sound to it and still goes pretty straight even if you don't hit it dead square. For some reason, I couldn't make a left to right putt with my Craz-E, but the Imosa just looks so much better to me, my confidence is soaring on the greens right now.

At just over $100, this would be an incredible deal for anyone looking for a new putter. This, along with Yes! brand putters, have the most innovative technologies out right now. I suggest trying out one of these if you're looking for a new putter at a good price.
