| I tried one of the new Nike Unitized at a local Golfer's Warehouse.... granted it wasn't during play, but dang that DID feel really nice... I'm waiting on a Rife Barbados... If this thread is still going when it arrives, I'll update on how that plays.

| putter I still use my Titleist Bullseye brass putter. Great feel too bad they don't make them anymore. I bought mine new about 6 years ago. They are definatley very retro now but you can't beat them for feel. |

| Umm depends on FEEL and wat you like but also the greens i play on regularly determine wat putters i like . Fast greens make me lean toward putters that are very soft and get the ball on a nice smooth roll. when i started i got a ping anser 2 which i loved. But as i got more competitive and started playing on nice course where greens are fast and tricky i bought a Scotty studio style 2 about 2 yrs ago and it love it for fast greens. |

| Ping G5i I just bought one of these and I really like it. The weight and balance is really nice - it swings like a pendullum in my hands and the ball has a nice even feel off of it. I had a Odessey 2 ball knock off for a while and thought it was pretty decent - but big and you couldn't really feel the ball in my oh so humble opinion. Anyone else use a Ping g5i here??? I A/B'd it with a bunch of different Odysey models but each Odyssey had a problem to my feel - either the mallet was too small OR big.. or the sweetspot was too small - weight was too lite etc...but everyone here seems to be on the Odyssey kick so maybe I am the one who is screwed up!

| I have a G5i (the anser style) and love it. I had it custom fitted, 32 inches long (I'm a shorty) and 4 degrees upright. I am putting better than I ever have. I don't have to adjust my stroke to fit the putter now, I can make a natural stroke.
I highly recommend getting the putter fitted for you

| I have to admit the heavy putter has an attraction to me. Since I'm as big as Godzilla, a light putter just does these pretty figure 8 moves in my hand. I need something to make me take it straight back and through.
I recently picked up one of the TaylorMade Imola putters and found it fairly heavy, but also with a great feel on the face. I have also tried a bunch of putters in recent times and found without exception that I line up a blade style better than any mallet style, regardless of how many lines or balls it's got. I guess I'm just strange enough that perpendicular makes more sense to me than parallel when i line up a putt.

| I like the Heavy Putter, simply becasue it is so very smooth. I can hit slow, long lag putts, and the ball just rolls like it's on ice. No hop at all! short or long distances, I found nothing that could even compare. I found myself hitting putts, without hardly een aiming..that's how good this putter feels. It seems to align itself, and I am SOOOOOOO glad I bought it! You just pull it back, and let gravity take it down..man, so easy, it feels like cheating! I thought my Rossa Mezza Monza VT was nice..but it feels like wood compared to the Heavy Putter! Best money I have spent on golf, since I bought my driver! |
