My new driver 907D2 came stock with a UST V2 proforce 76g stiff....which is usually my shaft of choice (I have it installed in my current driver Hibore and in most of my fairway woods). The problem with this shaft is, even though it should be identical to the after market V2 I had installed in my Hibore, it plays more like an X-stiff or even an XX-stiff, of course it's a manufacture installed shaft and it isn't uncommon for them to not flex "true." It's not for me, I just don't have the power yet for this shaft, it's also about an inch shorter than I would like it to be. I could easily just replace it with an after market v2 pro but I'd like to look around first. Here's what's caught my eye;
