well is golf a sport really? Its hard to define a sport.

yes it is. in golf u get points, and u make desicions and it is obvious about what scores you get.
in dancing people judge u and tell u what they think, not every has the same opinions so they might think that u arent a good dancer and someone else might think youre brilliant, in golf, handicaps show whether u are good or not.
