Reggie Bush...What were the Texans thinking?

Can anyone tell me how or why the Texans passed on drafting Reggie Bush with the first overall pick of this year's NFL draft? Come on now...is it all hype or what. Many so called football experts have proclaimed Bush as the best player to enter the draft in years!

I would have thought the Texans would have at least traded their #1 pick if they weren't picking Bush. Geez...no problem here since my lowly Saints picked him up.

I have no earthly idea... did you see that run he had in the pre season game?

Everyone said "he won't be able to reverse feilds agaist NFL athletes".... well he proved them wrong wrong! I was not a big Reggie Bush fan in college because I don't like USC, but now I can't wait to see him treat defenders the same way Barry Sanders did for years to come.

Barry Sanders now that name jolts some great Thanksgiving memories. Early Thursday morning Thanksgiving games in Detroit with the Lions taking on the Packers, Vikings or the Bears. Lions usually were cellar dwellers, however Barry certainly made the game entertaining when he would get stopped dead in his track, reverse field and turn a negative rushing play into a 20 to 30 yard gain. Obviously it's only been one game, but Bush does seem to have that same entertainment value as Sanders which is exactly what the Saints need considering their history in the NFL. The Texans must really be high on Davis to pass up a quality running back.
