Can Tiger win a true Grand Slam?

Tiger, as we all know is the best in the field! Without a doubt! But can he really be that good to be able to win all Grand Slams in one calendar year? MMM...I'd have to say no! I agree with the author of this article! Check it out and see if you don't agree with me! or Him. I respect Tiger, but I also respect the rest of the players in the PGA. There are a lot of them that can stop Tiger from a Grand Slam dunk!

If anyone could do it, it's Tiger. This year, all of the Majors are being hosted at courses which suit Tiger. It's unlikely, but we'll see how he does. I can't wait for the Masters. This thing could drop off really fast (like it did with Annika a few years ago) or he could win the Masters+US Open, generating a ridiculous amount of hype.

By the way, welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy your time here.

Thanks for the welcome message!

ANd yes, I think if anyone can do it - It's going to be Tiger. He's proven to be able to do things no one has ever thought he was able to do. We will have to wait and see. Oh, and I guess things weren't going his way at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando. He's seven behind Vijay!

It all starts with the Masters in a month! We'll see.
This year I'm hosting the Masters BBQ party at my house so I'm looking forward it. Cooking outside but eating inside

BBQ at your house

One of three things must be happening to cause you to eat inside. Either to damn cold, the sun's glare on the TV or the mosquito and black fly.

Thats what my brother complains about in Starbuck, Manatoba.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to get a true Grand Slam, you have to win all 4 majors in a calendar year, of which the Masters is one. He lost the masters yesterday by a few strokes.

I'm presuming that because of the time-zone difference in Australia, yesterday hasn't reached you yet, and therfore you haven't seen him play the final round

But can he do it in the future? Quite possibly. Will he beat the current records for most majors won in a career? I'd put money on it.

Cheers,
TMC

Yes know that he didn't win the masters I just meant that if anyone could do it he'd be on the top of the list of people I'd think could do it. It was funny I was watching saturdays play, which was sunday morning my time and they kept saying, about it being saturdays play which confused my daughter she wanted to know why they were saying saturday instead of sunday.

I figured, but just had to make a time zone joke

Speaking of time zone weirdness, I've always wondered if you had a fast enough air plane & in flight refueling, it might be possible to always be directly in sunlight... so no matter how long you're up there, it's only one day right

My daughter was a little concerned watching the game (she's almost 3). All of the sudden she said she was afraid to watch it because 'the ball is going to go in the water'. We left the room for a minute & when we came back we just missed watching Immelman's ball hit the water! Freaky.

BTW, does your daughter golf too? Mine enjoys going to the driving range, and has been on a course here once.
