Every golfer wants at some point in his or her golfing life to make a hole in one. It's elusive for most. In professional golf, it's not so rare.

After all, there were 26 on the PGA Tour last year. But what happened today on the Nationwide Tour in Georgia at the Athens Regional Foundation Classic was one for the books.

Brendon Todd had aced the 157-yard 17th hole with a seven-iron in the first round of the tournament Thursday. Today, he returned to the 17th hole, which was playing 147 yards, and knocked his tee shot into the cup with an eight-iron, the first player in the 20-year history of the tour to ace the same hole in consecutive rounds.

“It's still hard to believe,” Todd said after shooting a one-under-par 71. “It's a bit surreal, even now.”
