Coming Back to Golf

3042 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  laiksiddiqui32
I was an 18+ hole a week golfer until about 10 years ago. I was a little better than double bogey golf from the red tees. Arthritis and real life got in the way. A hip replacement, a new wife and a retirement later, we are getting into golf. Coming back for me and totally new for my wife.

I am looking forward to getting help from the "hive mind". Especially for how to help my wife.

Welcome to the Golf Forum, and congrats with the new hip, wife and appetite for golf!
I'll tell you a little story: " Tiger Woods has battled severe injuries over the past two decades. His first golf-related surgery was in 2002 when he had fluid removed around the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. For the next 12 years, Woods suffered various knee injuries that kept him out of several major golf tournaments. Beginning in 2014, he began having back problems. Over the next few years, Woods underwent several back surgeries. But that didn't stop him from performing." I always set an example for people like that. And as of late, I'm back and already serious about golf. Many of my friends decided to support me and, thanks to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1RCTND?th=1, gave me personalized golf towels.
