I think Darren will rise to the occasion. At least that is what I would hope for him, otherwise it could be a costly and painful experience.

She had passed away 6 weeks earlier, after a long fight with breast cancer.

I'm arriving at this thread late, the beginning of October...

What an amazing man to perform the way he has since his wife's death. Nobody is letting him forget it because the media constantly reminds him and the players are constantly expressing their sympathies, so can you imagine how incredible his focus must be to block all that out and play competitive golf at the level he has in the past couple months?

Other players have lost loved ones occasionally through the years, but Darren's display of courage and performance is one for the Hall of Fame.
