Luke Donald has strong hopes of English success at next month's Masters.

Donald is one of seven Englishmen in the field at Augusta National for the opening major of the year, lining up alongside compatriots Paul Casey, Ross Fisher, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood and Oliver Wilson - all of whom are in the 70-man field at Doral this week for the WGC-CA Championship.

It is a group Donald believes can produce a number of contenders for the winner's famous green jacket, and he said: "Obviously Paul is playing well, Lee's had a couple of good seasons behind him, Justin, Poulter, the list keeps going on. It's a good time for English golf."
