Former Clemson All-American Lucas Glover recorded his third career hole-in-one in a PGA Tour event on Friday at the Shell Houston Open. Glover aced the par three 16th hole, his seventh hole of the day, from 206 yards with a six iron. It was the first hole in one by any golfer at the Shell Houston Open in five years.
Glover also recorded a hole-in-one at the Western Open at Cog Hill outside Chicago in 2004, and at the 2006 Mercedes Championship in Hawaii. That ace at the Mercedes won Glover a new Mercedes Benz.
