Well I guess this is the introduction part.
So here we go.
My name is Michael Wilson. I started hacking....errrrr. playing golf at age 13. I played randomly and on and off until about 18 where I then basically quit for 3-4 years. I was most interested in chasing other things than golf balls. At about the age of 22 i started again, and have been playing since. I am now 28 Y.O. Single digit handicap, and love everything about the game. I love being outside, I love the challenge both mentally and physically, and i love playing the course, and having a good time with my friends. Look for to the talks and Hope I can bring some insight to some of the threads.

Hey Michael.

I'm in a similar situation as you, except I'm a lot older.:(

My handicap is 4, but a lot of that is from scores from last year, when I played a lot. I played very seldomly this winter (weather, spending more time skiing). I would say my current game is around a 7.
