Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am writing in hopes of receiving suggestions on possible companies and/or individuals willing to sponsor a young, extremely talented Chicagoland golfer. Please read on... (your time invested < 1.3 min.) :)

The golfer I am referring to is Chris M, a 23 yr. old, Wilmette, IL native. He is joining the Grey Goose Tour, which begins this upcoming January, 2007. Golf is an extremely expensive sport (as you all know) and in order to pursue his dream, Christopher must work 2 jobs & devote tons of time trying to find sponsors, who will invest and believe in him. He is not able to move out to AZ to practice before the tour begins until he has made and/or raised enough money to do so.

Although I could be biased, b/c I love him dearly, I'm not. (I'm just a great gf.) However, he is a hidden talent waiting to be discovered and simply needs to be given a chance!

His bday is coming up and I would absolutely LOVE to surprise him w/ something I know means more than anything in the world to him.

Please^3 contact me at [email protected], or reply to this discussion for more info or if you or anyone you know, might be interested in helping him out.

Sorry this post was so long; I can be long-winded at times. Note to self: Work on that.

Thank you all so much for your time.

Sincerely,

Kristina J.

That's great. It's great that your bf is such a good golfer. It's even better that you're supporting him 100%. That's more than can be said for a lot of golfers' gfs/wives. But you have to understand that there are thousands of golfers in the same spot your bf is in. Until he proves himself on the tour, sponsors are going to be reluctant to support him. That said, I wish you and your bf the best of luck, and genuinely hope you find a sponsor.
