Hi all,
i have just started playing golf well been playing for months now and then. the first set of clubs i had was a dunlop set which have now started to break. I have just ordered a new set of irons " Forgan V2 " and i cant find any information on them, i was hoping that someone would be able to direct me to a site or let me know if they are any good. Thanks again and i hope i have posted this in the right place.

Welcome, I just started playing this year too.

I looked up their site from Precision golf. They appear to be clones of something. How did you choose them without trying them?

thanks for the reply. I tried them in the shop i bought them from and got measured at the same time. I bought them because i like what they looked like, and they felt good. I have a cheap graphite set that i started with but the heads have started comming away from the shafts. I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me if they were any good as i havent got a clue about clubs other than they looked nice and felt good.

I am just starting to get serious about the game myself and i purchased the adams a2os hybrid irons. These are great clubs for the beginer as they are very forgiving and have slightly increase angles to help get the ball in the air more...

HI would somebody be able to tell me which is a better club and Ping G5 10.5 degrees or a Ping Rapture 10.5 degrees both have a stiff shaft Thanx
I have not hit the Rapture, I have hit the G5. I like the club, but I could not justify spending $400 to gain a few yards.
Now like anything else in golf, Ping must figure they have a better design to help you and I hit the ball further and straighter with the new Rapture.
That being said, you can likely save a lot of money by purchasing a G5 compared to the Rapture.
Your best bet is to demo both clubs and see which one you like better. Pay attention to the ball flight and take it from there.
I tend to think that OEM's have run out of room for game improvement clubs. They are at their limits as far was what the USGA, R&A and RGCA will allow when it comes to MOI.
Let us know which one you like best!

Help required....

I am currently hitting the Ping Rapture Irons and I would rate them a tad better than the G5s or the I5s in terms of forgiveness, feel and distance.

They are quite expensive but it is worth the enjoyment I get out of these sticks.

Give them a try.

Good luck

Ps. Try the Mizuno Mx 900, good irons too.

Has to be the rapture for a few reasons new technology and easier to hit makes it a better club to buy.
