The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has set up an online ticket sales service for the 2009 Open de España.

The €2million event, which was won last year by Ireland’s Peter Lawrie, will take place at PGA Golf Catalunya from April 30 to May 3.

Tickets are available here, and are priced as follows: weekly passes are €30; daily passes are €12; and children under 12 go free. Entry is also free for all spectators from April 27-29.

The purchase process is simple and totally safe. After selecting the type and number of tickets required, customers need only register, confirm the order and make a payment through a secure server for online payments.

Tickets can be collected during tournament week at specific ticket offices located at the PGA Golf Catalunya entrance gate. In addition, tickets will also be sold throughout the week in the general ticket offices at the access to the premises.

The event will be sponsored by Reale Seguros, Turespaña, Turisme de Catalunya, Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona and Ajuntament de Girona, who have joined forces with the RFEG Sponsors Club led by Reale Seguros - which also includes Adecco, Avis, Lacoste, OKI, and Mahou – as well as other contributors.
